Just like our core transportation services, tour promoters can count on HET for full-service logistics —one call takes care of all equipment and gear transportation.

Specialized Training for a Specialized Industry
Qualified drivers selected for HET will attend a dedicated training class. This hands-on course covers key aspects of touring and entertainment logistics, including:
- Backstage terms and etiquette
- Load-in/load-out procedures
- Securement techniques
- Blind-side radio-controlled backing
Two Unique Driving Opportunities:
Production Runs
- One-time moves (one-way or round-trip)
- May include layovers
- Paid at your current rate, plus stop and accessorial pay
- Duration: 7–21 days
Tour Assignments
- Extended tours: 4 weeks up to 7 months
- Most driving occurs overnight after show loadouts
- Drivers receive a weekly salary, averaging $1,800/week
- Annual earnings average $93,600, with room to grow
- Includes HET-branded uniform package
What It Takes to Join the HET Team:
Minimum Requirements:
- 1 year of verifiable driving experience in the last 3 years
- 6 months of entertainment driving experience
Additional Qualifications:
- Valid passport for Canadian tours (HET reimburses if you’re selected and don’t already have one)
- Commitment to complete full tour durations (4 weeks to 7 months)
- Flexibility — last-minute bookings and changes are part of the job
- Strong communication with fleet managers and lead drivers
- Hazmat endorsement & flatbed certification
- Ability to back into tight or unusual venue spots
- Team player attitude — ability to work and travel well with others
- Smartphone required (for communication and updates)
- Professional appearance and vehicle presentation
- Willingness to assist with loading/unloading gear
- Comfortable calling the pack and securing it with load bars/straps
- Occasional weekend availability to help with production loads
- Willingness to be teamed with another driver for short assignments (up to 14 days)
